Isla Grande is known as the Brazilian Caribbean, famous for its beach Lopes Mendes, considered one of the most attractive of the Brazilian coast. Also noteworthy are the beaches of Dois Rios, Aventureiro and Parnaioca on the Atlantic side and Feiticeira, Saco do Céu, Laguna Azul, Laguna Verde, Araçatiba, Ubatubinha, Abraozinho and Das Palmas, among others, on the mainland. Not everything is beach on the island, the mountain and forest of the Mata Atlantica type are also tourist attractions.
On the island there are no cars or motorized ground transportation, it is only allowed to walk or bike.
The biggest tourist structure is in Vila do Abraão.
The lodging in sailboat offers to know the island comfortably from the sea, visiting the different wonderful beaches without having to return to the vila to spend the night, being able to anchor to shelter and to sleep under the stars with all the comforts.
